Roles at a glance

๐Ÿ‘‘

Owner

Full access. Can manage billing, delete the workspace, and change any setting. There is exactly one owner per workspace.

๐Ÿ›ก

Admin

Can invite/remove members, manage projects, and change project settings. Cannot change billing or ownership.

โœ๏ธ

Editor

Can create and edit projects they are assigned to. Cannot manage team members or workspace settings.

๐Ÿ‘

Viewer

Read-only access to assigned projects. Can leave comments in the review player but cannot edit the canvas.

Inviting team members

1

Open Settings โ†’ Team

Click your avatar in the dashboard top bar, then choose Settings. Select the Team tab.

2

Enter email addresses

Type one or more email addresses separated by commas. Select the role from the dropdown โ€” you can assign different roles to different invitees in the same batch.

3

Send invites

Click Send invites. Each recipient gets an email with a join link valid for 7 days. Pending invites appear in the member list with a Pending badge.

4

Assign to projects

Once accepted, go to the project's Settings โ†’ Collaborators to give the member access. Editors without project access see a blank project list.

Changing a member's role

In Settings โ†’ Team find the member row and click their current role badge. A dropdown lets you select a new role. The change takes effect immediately โ€” the member's next page load will reflect updated permissions.

โš ๏ธ
Downgrading to Viewer: If an Editor is mid-session when you downgrade them, they can continue editing until they reload. Always communicate role changes to affected team members.

Removing a member

Click the ยทยทยท menu on a member row and choose Remove from workspace. Their access is revoked immediately. Content they created (pages, comments, plan items) remains โ€” it is not deleted.

Live collaboration in the builder

When multiple Editors have the same project open, you'll see:

If two Editors move the same element simultaneously, the last write wins. Use the Plan panel to divide work by flow so collisions are rare.

๐Ÿ’ก
Best practice: Assign each designer to specific flows in the Plan panel. This creates natural ownership and reduces canvas conflicts.

Guest reviewers

Stakeholders who only need to view and comment on a prototype do not need a seat. Share a review link from the builder's Share menu. Guests cannot access the canvas or other projects.
